Cleveland industrialist and serial entrepreneur Dan Moore has been starting up businesses as President of the Dan T. Moore Co. since 1979. He currently serves as chairman of eight companies, each with its own proprietary edge, including Flow Polymers, Inc.; Soundwich, Inc.; Team Wendy LLC; Impact Armor Technologies LLC; Sleep Optima LLC; Tennesee Iron Products, LLC; Polyfill, LLC; and NatGasCar, LLC. He serves as director of Hawk Corporation (AMEX), Cleveland, Ohio, Park-Ohio Holdings Corp (NASDAQ), Cleveland, Ohio, and Invacare Corporation (NYSE), Elyria, Ohio. He was appointed to the Cleveland State University Board of Trustees by Governor Ted Strickland on July 26, 2008. Mr. Moore has penned a blog about his motorcycle travels (the Silk Road, and most recently, the Continental Divide). When not traveling, Dan finds time to ski and sail and serve as a Trustee of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, University School, the Wendy Park Foundation, and Cleveland State University. He holds 53 patents and degrees from Trinity College and the Harvard Business School.
