Mr. Monahan is the retired Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Imation Corporation, a developer, manufacturer, marketer and distributor of removable data storage media products and accessories, a position which he held from 1996 until his retirement in 2004. Prior to the formation of Imation, he served as Group Vice President of 3M Company ("3M") responsible for its Electro and Communications Group, senior managing director of 3M's Italy business and Vice President of 3M's Data Storage Products Division.
