A lifelong New Yorker, David Cornstein has built a record of achievement as a businessman and leader. He has helped build a billion dollar NASDAQ Stock Exchange Company, Finlay Enterprises. In addition, he turned around a failing government entity to make it effective, efficient and profitable. David Cornstein was tapped by Mayor Rudolph Giuliani in 1994 to serve as Chairman of New York City's Off Track Betting. His leadership and decisive management abilities led to a dramatic turnaround at OTB that has produced a source of jobs and growing revenue for both the City and State of New York. David Cornstein was named by Governor Pataki as the Chairman of the New York State Olympic Games Commission leading an effort that has led to New York City being selected as the United States candidate city for the 2012 summer Olympic games; he is serving as a Member of the Battery Park City Authority; served as Vice Chairman of Economic Development Corporation of New York City and the New York State Council on State Productivity. He has recently been appointed as a Board Member for the Jacob Javits Development Corporation. David Cornstein previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Finlay Enterprises - a nationwide leased fine jewelry company based in Manhattan with annual sales of over a billion dollars. He is currently Chairman Emeritus to the Company and is also President of Pinnacle Advisors Ltd., a consulting and advisory firm.
