Jesse McCollum

Jesse McCollum has more than thirteen years legislative, political and professional advocacy experience in Washington, D.C. McCollum came to the Eris Group from his role as Senior Advisor to the Chairman at the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, where he gained an intimate knowledge of the intricacies of the government procurement process and congressional investigations. Prior to joining the committee, he was Chief of Staff to Congressman Ron Klein (D-FL). This position followed a stint off the Hill as Director of Government Affairs at the National Beer Wholesalers Association. McCollum began his career as a finance assistant for U.S. Senator Tim Johnson and after graduating from George Washington University, became Deputy Political Director at the American Chiropractic Association. He then was named Director of National Finance at Sutter's Mill, where he worked as a fundraising consultant for more than 20 members of Congress. In 2000, McCollum joined the congressional staff of Congressman Ed Towns as a Legislative Assistant handling telecommunications, intellectual property, energy and consumer product safety issues under the jurisdiction of the Energy & Commerce Committee.
