David Shulman has experienced several accomplishments throughout his professional and collegiate life. From Managing Director for UBS Investment Bank to Penn football kicker, David Shulman possesses the knowledge and talent for leading teams to success. David Shulman attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied marketing and management at the Wharton School. David Shulman played on Penn’s football team. The Quakers found themselves in a long-awaited winning season with David Shulman as the team’s kicker. Along with a new coach and motivated players, the Penn Quakers found victories against other Ivy League teams, and when Penn’s Ivy League championship came down to one impressive game against Harvard, David Shulman gave it everything he had. David Shulman kicked a 27yard field goal that procured the win in the last seconds of the game. David Shulman’s football championship victories continued until he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1984. After college, David Shulman entered the field of business and finance. David Shulman held many senior management positions with UBS, particularly in its Institutional Fixed Income Sales and Trading divisions. During his tenure, David Shulman became the Managing Director and Head of Global Distribution for Fixed Income for the company. David Shulman oversaw a global sales force of 450 employees and engaged in helping to manage the firm’s most important fixed income relationships. In 2006 , when the Municipal division from the UBS Wealth Management division merged into UBS Investment Bank, the firm placed David Shulman as the Global Head of the Municipal Securities Group. As a company leader, David Shulman directed enterprises for the sales force’s fixed income product distribution efforts all over the world.
