Lawrence B Prior III

Lawrence B. Prior III was named chief operating officer of Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) on October 1, 2007. As chief operating officer, Prior has global responsibility for all of SAIC's business operations. Prior is focused on leading SAIC in achieving improved growth; fostering innovation and flexibility; and ensuring the customer mission remains the company's foremost priority. He ensures that customer focus is reflected in the company's strategy, made integral to leadership development, and supported by enterprise-wide collaboration. Before joining SAIC, Prior served in a variety of executive positions in the high-tech industry and government. Earlier in his career, Prior worked in Washington, D.C. as a professional staff member on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and was an intelligence officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. Prior graduated with a bachelor's degree in science from Loyola Marymount University and a master's degree from Georgetown University. He is also a graduate of The Executive Program at the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia.
