Joseph D Mark

Joseph D. Mark is a Co-founder of Aveta Inc. and has been its President since July 12, 2006. Mr. Mark has been a Principal at TSG since 2001. Mr. Mark is also a Founder and General Partner of The Israel International Fund. From November 2004 until November 2005, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Aveta Inc. Mr. Mark served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Aveta Health since January 2003. Prior to joining Aveta Health, Mr. Mark was Co-founder, ... Co-chairman and Chief Executive Officer of THCG Inc., since January 1999 and has been Chief Executive Officer since August 9, 2000 until September 2001. From 1995 to November 1999, Mr. Mark served as President and Managing Director of Tower Hill where he was responsible for the management, coordination and direction of Tower Hill's domestic and cross-border corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions business. Prior to joining Tower Hill, Mr. Mark worked for a number of years as a mergers and acquisitions specialist, most recently as a Vice President of Drexel Burnham Lambert Incorporated. He was a Head of the U.S. corporate finance business of Hambro America Securities Inc. (the predecessor of Tower Hill) from 1989 to 2001. Prior to joining Hambro, Mr. Mark was an Investment Banker at a number of firms, including Salomon Brothers and Drexel Burnham Lambert. He has been Director of THCG Inc. since 1999. Mr. Mark serves as a Director of Aveta Inc. Mr. Mark received an A.B. in Economics from Columbia University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
