Mr. Lowry's management consulting firm, James H. Lowry & Associates, is based in Chicago, and he is a vice president at The Boston Consulting Group. He is an academic advisor for the Kellogg School of Management's Minority Director Development Program (MDDP) and NMSDC Advanced Management Education Program (AMEP). He also serves as co-Chairman of The City of Chicago/Durban, South Africa Sister Cities Committee as well as Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Howard University Institute for Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Innovation (ELI Institute). He earned a B.A. in political science at Grinnell College, a master's degree in international economics from the University of Pittsburgh and attended Harvard Business School's Program for Management Development (PMD).
