H. Jerome Russell Jr. moved through the professional ranks of H.J. Russell & Co.’s construction and real estate development operations until reaching his current position as president. He’s also president of Russell New Urban Development, where his focus is on the firm’s strategic direction and new business development. Russell has been involved in the beverage distribution, consumer marketing, banking, construction, and development industries for more than 25 years. In 1997, he was named to the board of Citizens Trust Bank, and in 2005 he became chairman of Citizens Trust’s loan committee. He has been involved in the beverage distribution, consumer marketing, banking, construction and development business for over 25 years. . He also serves on the board of H. J. Russell & Company, Concessions International, Metro Atlanta YMCA, Georgia Historical Society and Central Atlanta Progress. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, Atlanta Rotary, Atlanta Chamber of Commerce the Young President Organization and the 100 Black Men of Atlanta. Education: Georgia State University
