An attorney at Pierce Atwood, LLP and an officer in the Maine Army National Guard. Cote’s legal practice has primarily focused on real estate and energy related matters. As a member of the Maine Army National Guard, he served in Iraq in 2004 and 2005 and previously served in Bosnia Herzegovina in 1997 and 1998. He is a member of the Board of Advisers for the Greater Portland Salvation Army, the Maine Bar Association’s Community and Public Relations Committee, the Maine Real Estate Developer’s Association Legislative Affairs Committee and the Colby College Alumni Council. Cote grew up in Sanford, graduating from Sanford High School, Colby College and the University of Maine School of Law. He is the son of Roland Cote from Sanford and Kitty Chadbourne from Cumberland. He currently resides in Portland, with his wife, Paulina and daughters, Ana and Audrey.
