Mr. Delman is with DGZ Capital. Previously, he has served as a Belfer Center Research Fellow and the former President of Cap Z Investment Partners in New York where he oversaw investments in private equity funds and hedge funds. Mr. Delman managed a 2.25 billion USD investment vehicle which sponsored the creation of new alternative asset investment groups and sat on the management boards and Investment Committees of funds based in Europe, Asia, and the United States. Prior to co-founding Capital Z in 1998, Mr. Delman was an Executive Director of Foreign & Colonial Emerging Markets (FCEM) in London, a global emerging markets investment firm. He directed the firm’s investment activities in Eastern Europe, Russia, the Middle East, and Africa. Prior to his tenure at FCEM , Mr. Delman served as Head of Emerging Markets Corporate Finance for Bank of America’s Europe/Middle East/Africa Division and directed the Bank’s corporate finance activities in the region. Mr. Delman has also worked as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers, Bankers Trust, and Prudential Securities. Mr. Delman graduated with honors in history from Yale College and received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Besides his affiliation with the Belfer Center, he also serves on the Advisory Board of the Institute for Security Studies at Yale University. Mr. Delman is also a Board member at the New America Foundation in Washington, D.C., and a member of the International Advisory Board at Alfa Capital Partners in Moscow, Russia.
