Sydney Hay owns her own public affairs, and association management firm, Southwest Policy Group. She is President of the Arizona Mining Association and directs the mining industry small business group, AMIGOS. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Washington, D.C.– based Small Business Entrepreneurship Council and Women Entrepreneurs, Inc. She is a political advisor to and surrogate speaker for candidates and elected officials at the state and national levels having managed three Presidential campaigns. Public policy credits include leading the statewide tax limitation initiative that amended the Arizona constitution with 72% of the popular vote; leading the lobbying effort that established Arizona’s school choice programs; managing the successful campaign to repeal the tax on livestock; leading the lobbying effort that eliminated the marriage penalty in Arizona’s tax code among others.
