Before his death in February 2005, Vanessa Trumps's father, Charles Haydon, had invested as much as $1 million in Rao’s Speciality Foods, the pasta-sauce venture launched by the legendary Italian restaurant in Harlem. Haydon, the Post says, controlled 30 percent of the company, so when it was sold in 2017 for around $415 million, his heirs—including Vanessa—reportedly received a hefty windfall.
