Venessa Trump

Vanessa Haydon Trump is a designer and philanthropist wife of Donald Trump Jr. She is also a former actress and Wilhelmina model. An alumna of the Dwight School, Vanessa studied psychology at New York’s Marymount Manhattan College. Vanessa is an avid humanitarian. She and her husband, Don Jr., both volunteered on an Operation Smile medical mission in Nicaragua in 2008. A onetime model with the Wilhelmina agency, Ms. Trump was raised on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and once dated the actor Leonardo DiCaprio. At the time of their engagement, Mr. Trump accepted a ring from the Bailey Banks & Biddle jewelry store in Short Hills, N.J., in exchange for publicity, recreating his proposal in a New Jersey mall. As the mother of five young children, Vanessa is committed to helping Operation Smile transform the lives of children in developing countries who live in the most impoverished communities. To that end, Vanessa and her husband, Donald, were recently honored with the Wallis Public Service Award for their generosity and long-term support of Operation Smile. In 2010, Vanessa launched La Poshett, an exclusive, one-of-a-kind handbag line for women who seek elegance, luxury and grace for both day and evening ensemble with sleek, smart clutches, handbags and pouches.
