ARESTY--Jerome Joseph, died at the age of 79 after four miraculous years surviving lung cancer, and after quite a few bonus golf games, in Boca Raton, Florida on June 5, 2009. Jerome was born August 23, 1929 in Rochester, New York. The youngest of nine children, he was nicknamed "The Babe." Jerome married his high school sweetheart, Lorraine Kabakoff, in 1952. They recently celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary. Over a thirty year career, Jerome with his brothers and partners, Joseph and Gerald, grew their business into a major sportswear firm, Alfred Dunner, Inc. Jerome will be remembered for his major support of Jewish charities, Morristown Memorial Hospital, Rutgers University and many others. He is survived by Lorraine, daughter Karen Kustel of Mill Valley, CA, son James of Aspen, CO, and four grandsons. He is also survived by two brothers, Maurice and Joseph, and a sister, Ann, many nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
