I’ve done this in diverse roles: from leading the team that created the first municipal action plan—now the national model—for President Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper initiative, to founding a non-profit for urban pop up play spaces before they were ubiquitous. In short, I like solving problems. I’ve found the best way to address seemingly intractable challenges is to build a collaborative team of content experts to advance the work. However, I’m not afraid to handle the nitty-gritty details, because the end goal is always to produce a high-quality product. If something needs doing, I will do it.
