MICHAEL F. MCENENEY's practice focuses primarily on regulatory and legislative issues impacting financial institutions, with special emphasis on retail banking. He advises banks, savings associations, finance companies, trade associations and others on the full range of issues that affect day-to-day retail banking operations. He spends much of his time concentrating on issues pertaining to privacy, payment systems, consumer loan and deposit products and consumer bankruptcy. Mr. McEneney is a frequent speaker and writer on financial services issues and has testified before Congress on behalf of a diverse group of financial services organizations. Mr. McEneney received his B.S., cum laude, from Manhattan College in 1980 and his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law in 1986. Prior to attending law school, he spent three years with Price Waterhouse's New York office.
