Joel Farkas is the principal in real estate and water resource interests consolidated under JF Companies. He is a founding member of the Capital Facilities Fee Foundation, which contributes to the capital construction of schools in one of Colorado’s fastest growing school districts. Mr. Farkas has served on the Boards of the Denver Symphony Orchestra, the Lupus Foundation and the Third Way Center. He also serves on the Boards of Colorado State Bank and Trust and the Colorado Commission of Higher Education, and was co-chair of the 2004 Beaux Arts Ball for National Jewish Health. Mr. Farkas and his wife, Carol, received the 2002 Humanitarian of the Year Award from the Lupus Foundation. They have two children.
