Died peacefully at his home on March 14, 2010, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. A lifelong resident of Pineville, Louisiana, Mr. Tudor was a contractor and real estate developer who grew his family's Tudor Construction Company and later Tudor Enterprises into multi-million dollar regional corporations. Following graduation Louisiana State University, Mr. Tudor was a 2nd Lt. in Anti-aircraft artillery in the United States Army on active duty at Fort Bliss, in Texas, and at Fort Chaffee, in Arkansas. After his service in the U.S. Army, he returned to Alexandria in 1958 to join his father as the third generation at Tudor Construction Company. He was named managing partner in 1961. Under his dynamic leadership, Tudor Construction quickly expanded to become one of the few Louisiana construction companies to work statewide. Mr. Tudor was born May 18, 1935 in Pineville, Louisiana to Lorraine Price and Robert B. Tudor, Sr., who preceded him in death.He is survived by his devoted wife, Patsy Graham Tudor, of Pineville, his five children, Anne Elizabeth (Lisa) Tudor of New Orleans; Robert B. Tudor, III and wife Phoebe of Houston, Texas; John M. Tudor and wife Kheli of Alexandria; William A. Tudor and wife Monique of Pineville; and Geoffrey T. Tudor of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by three beloved stepchildren, Michelle Jennings and husband Nathan of Fort Hood, Texas; Justin Hathorn and wife Ali of Monroe; and Holly Hathorn and her fiancé Brandon Malone of Pineville.He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren: Jacob and Chloe Stoller of New Orleans, Louisiana; Caroline, Margaret, and Harry Tudor of Houston, Texas; Jennifer Tudor O'Hara of Montgomery, Alabama; Simon and Ryann Tudor of Alexandria, Louisiana; Elise, William, Virginia, Trevor, Belle, Seth, and Evangeline Tudor of Pineville, Louisiana; Olivia and Philip Tudor of Austin, Texas; great-granddaughter Addison O'Hara, of Montgomery, Alabama; their grandmother and great-grandmother, Jane Ann Tudor Welch of Santa Fe, New Mexico; grandchildren Bryan and Connor Jennings of Fort Hood, Texas; and by his sister, Sue Tudor Miller and brother, Michael S. Tudor and wife Susan, all of Pineville, Louisiana.
