Katherine Rudin

Katherine Rudin is a New York Artist currently focusing on mixed media work. Born and raised in Manhattan, Rudin studied film and screenwriting at New York University and has worked as a writer and photographer for OUT, GENRE, and ANIMAL FAIR, among other publications. While living in Miami in the early 1990's, Rudin was drawn to the city's vibrant art scene and welcoming community of artists. She began to make collages with her photographs adding text, acrylics, oil stick and found objects and images; creating a multilayered commentary on modern life. This work has been exhibited in galleries in Miami, Fire Island and New York City. Katherine lives and works in Greenwich Village and Southampton New York
