Michael D. Rumbolz is Chairman and CEO of Cash Systems, Inc. (CKN-AMEX), a provider of cash access services to the casino industry. Its products include proprietary ‘All-in-One’ cash advance ATM’s, credit and debit card cash advance kiosks and check cashing solutions, and collectively comprise the primary means by which casinos make cash available to their customers. In a joint venture with Bally Technology, Cash Systems is currently developing cash access products which will interface with account wagering systems at the gaming device. Mr. Rumbolz is also owner and Managing Director of Acme Gaming LLC, a consulting company formed in 2000 to provide development, merger, acquisition, strategic planning, legal compliance, and other services to corporations and partnerships involved with various facets of the gaming industry. During his career he has also consulted and assisted new gaming jurisdictions in Europe, Asia, Australia, and throughout North America in defining and implementing their regulatory systems. Until July 2001, he was Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Casino Data Systems (CDS-NYSE). Mr. Rumbolz was appointed to the CDS Board in May 2000. CDS was a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of innovative, technology-driven products for the gaming industry, and was sold in July 2001 to Aristocrat Leisure, Pty., an Australian gaming machine manufacturer. From June 1995 to March 2000, Mr. Rumbolz held the positions of President and Chief Executive Officer of Anchor Gaming (SLOT-NASDAQ), a diversified, gaming company that concentrated its efforts in: management of its wholly owned casinos; lottery operations; proprietary gaming machine manufacture and distribution; gaming systems development and sales; and slot machine route operations. In that capacity, Mr. Rumbolz was licensed or approved in over 90 gaming jurisdictions (including Native American reservations) as a manufacturer, distributor, and operator of gaming devices and licensed in Colorado and New Mexico as a casino operator.
