Aimee Boone Cunningham

Aimee Boone Cunningham is a community volunteer, activist and fundraiser who has raised more than $38 million for Democratic candidates and progressive organizations in the last 15 years. A graduate of the University of Virginia, Aimee worked as a campus organizer for the Feminist Majority Foundation for three years before returning to Texas and Democratic politics. From 2004-2010, Aimee raised money for and supported key legislative candidates, the Texas Democratic Party and other state-based organizations. From 2011-2012, Aimee served as the Vice President of Development for Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, where she led the affiliate's fundraising efforts through a significant merger and in the face of major government funding cuts. Aimee serves on the boards of Annie's List, The Center for Reproductive Rights, The Boone Family Foundation and Planned Parenthood Texas Votes, which she founded and chairs. She was a co-chair of the Wendy Davis for Governor campaign and serves on President Obama's National Finance Committee. Aimee lives with her husband, Ed Cunningham, and their family in Austin.
