Kevin Fitzgerald has been a leader in information technology sales and sales management for more than 25 years. He serves on Oracle's Executive Management Committee and is Senior Vice President for Oracle's Government, Education & Healthcare group, responsible for all Oracle sales activity in the U.S. education, healthcare, federal and state & local government areas. Mr. Fitzgerald previously worked for Oracle from 1987 to 1997 as Vice President and General Manager of the public sector sales group. During his initial tenure, Mr. Fitzgerald served in a number of sales roles, including Vice President of Federal Civilian Sales, where he garnered a host of sales and management awards. He also helped initiate new product development areas and product enhancements, enabling Oracle to meet specialized government requirements. Before returning to Oracle in May 2001, Mr. Fitzgerald was Vice President, Public Sector for customer relationship management software vendor Siebel Systems Inc., launching its government-focused sales group in 1999. Previously, Mr. Fitzgerald was Senior Vice President for Worldwide Sales and Operations at Crossworlds Software Inc., where he was promoted from his slot as Vice President of Americas Sales. After leaving Oracle in 1997, Mr. Fitzgerald moved to Netscape Communications Corp., directing Netscape's transition from browser to enterprise software sales as Vice President of North American Sales. Before arriving at Oracle in 1987, Mr. Fitzgerald was Vice President of Government Operations at NBI, Inc., where he was responsible for sales, marketing, technical support and training for civilian and defense agencies. Mr. Fitzgerald served in the U.S. Air Force. He received a Bachelor's degree from Boston College.
