David Berry

Dave Berry, a 22-year executive with Swift Transportation, led the company’s technology transformation in the early 1990s. He pioneered Swift’s and the industry’s onboard technology and logistics systems and currently leads the Independent Contractor Division. A leader in the trucking industry, Dave has chaired national trucking associations, been instrumental in the EPA’s Clean Air Policy, and NAFTA surface transportation policies. He was the founder and President of Kaibab Transportation until it was sold to Swift in 1990. Graduate of the University of Arizona with Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Served on the U of A Alumni board of directors and received the Outstanding Alumni Award.
