Tom Warren served as president/owner of a five-store music retail chain, M&M Music, from 1997-2002, when he sold the company to Guitar Center, Inc., a publicly held company based in California. Tom also spent 25 years with Roadway Express, from which he retired in 1997. During his last 10 years with Roadway, he helped launch RPS, Roadway Express's small package delivery business, which is now Fed-Ex Ground. He was vice president of operations for Roadway Express, with responsibility for 375 facilities across the U.S. He is now retired and a private investor and sits on the boards of Valdosta Technical College, the Breech School of Business and the Bank of Valdosta. He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration and economics from Drury in 1971. He is married to Drury alumnae Nancy DeRayter Warren '72. They have two children, Linsay and Ashlyn.
