Lyle D Reed

Lyle Reed is chairman of Foretravel, Inc., a manufacturer of luxury motor coaches in Nacogdoches, Texas after serving four years as President and Chief Executive Officer. Lyle completed a 30 year career in the railroad industry where he last served as President and Chief Executive Officer for the Chicago, Central and Pacific Railroad. Prior to the CC&P he held numerous executive positions with the Burlington Northern Railroad. He received his undergraduate degree in economics and MBA from Drury and completed the executive management program at Columbia University, NY. In addition, to serving on Drury's Board, Lyle was Chairman of Indiana Wesleyan University's Board of Trustees and was awarded an honorary doctorate by IWU in 2001. Lyle and his wife Nell have resided in Texas since 1996 along with their three adult children--Kim, Christy and James. They are actively involved in Campus Crusade for Christ International and are members of Stonebriar Community Church, founded by Pastor Chuck Swindoll.
