Rodney A. Coleman, Consultant, has held senior level leadership positions in business, government and the military. He brings to the firm over 35 years of combined experience and offers clients his expertise and contacts in many areas including government relations, marketing, environmental affairs and communications. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Coleman was the Executive Vice President for Corporate Planning and Public Affairs at ICF Kaiser International, Inc., one of the nation's largest engineering, construction management and consulting companies. Included in his responsibilities were corporate strategic planning, government relations and communications. In 1994, he was appointed by the President as an Assistant Secretary of the Air Force. During his four year tenure, Mr. Coleman was responsible for oversight of manpower, reserve affairs, installations and environmental activities. Coleman accepted this appointment after 14 years as an executive with General Motors where his expertise was called upon in the areas of urban and minority affairs, and municipal and federal government relations. Mr. Coleman has also served as an architectural design consultant to the Pennsylvania Avenue Development Corporation, executive assistant to the chairman of the District of Columbia City Council and a special assistant to the Secretary of the Interior, while he served as a White House Fellow. Mr. Coleman has a degree in architecture from Howard University and has done post-graduate work at the University of Michigan.
