Kalah Auchincloss, is a regulatory counsel in the Office of Regulatory Policy in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research at the FDA. Prior to joining the FDA, Kalah was an associate at Foley Hoag LLP, in Washington DC. At Foley, her practice focused on food and drug law and issues related to the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Health and Human Services generally. She counseled patient advocate groups; professional societies; pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies; and other organizations on legal and policy matters at the FDA and NIH as well as general public policy initiatives. Before joining Foley Hoag she interned for Judge Inez Smith Reid, District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Kalah received her MPH. from Harvard University, her JD from Georgetown University Law School and her BA from Williams College. While a member of the Georgetown University Law Center Institute for Public Representation, Kalah litigated civil rights and constitutional questions.
