Robert Healy, Senior Vice President of Wexler & Walker, has more than 30 years of experience in energy, environment, international trade, transportation and global public policy. Mr. Healy joined Wexler & Walker in 2000 after a 25-year career with ARCO, one of the nation’s largest energy companies, where he concluded his service as Vice President, Federal Relations and corporate officer. In 2000, ARCO merged with BP. At Wexler & Walker, Mr. Healy works with clients on major energy legislation, environmental policy and regulations, transportation and shipping legislation and telecommunication matters. He has helped Fortune 500 companies design and implement political engagement and corporate reputation/relationship building programs. Mr. Healy has served several former members of Congress, including the late Secretary of the Treasury and Senator Lloyd Bentsen (D-TX), the late Vice President and Senator Hubert Humphrey (D-MN) and Senator John Culver (D-IA). His political posts include former chairman of the Democratic National Committee’s National Finance Council, executive council chairman of the Democratic Leadership Council, and co-director of Podium, Script and Speeches for the Democratic National Party Conventions. Mr. Healy is also a member of the executive committee and board of BI-PAC, the Business- Industry Political Action Committee. Mr. Healy holds an Adjunct Professorship of Political Science at American University, where he teaches a graduate course on Corporations and Political Behavior. He was awarded a PhD in political science from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the College of Southern Maryland, a gubernatorial appointment.
