Parsons now owns 28 percent of GoDaddy shares. Bob Parsons has an impressive track record of entrepreneurial and business success. He founded his first venture, Parsons Technology, in 1984 and sold it in 1996 to Mountain View, California-based Intuit, Inc. In 1997, Bob founded The Go Daddy Group, carving out a unique niche for GoDaddy.com as an alternative to the early monopoly held by much larger companies in the Internet domain registration market. As a full service domain registrar, Go Daddy was founded on Bob's commitment to provide superior customer service, highly competitive pricing, innovative product offerings and a responsibility to do the right thing. These ideals continue to drive the company's success today. Bob's vision and leadership have propelled The Go Daddy Group to be the #1 registrar of domain names in the world for the past three years. Today, the company ranks #1 in total domains under management. Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, University of Baltimore
