Ms. Book is a Managing Director in Sonnenschein’s Public Law & Policy Strategies Group. Her work is focused on appropriations, education, energy, financial services, health care, homeland security, and tax issues. She specializes in legislative, regulatory, and public policy advocacy at the federal level; organizing and managing coalitions; and coordinating communications with policymakers and grassroots contacts. In addition to her extensive client work, Ms. Book has been active in a number of federal campaigns and various get-out-the-vote efforts during the 2006 national election in Ohio. Previously, Ms. Book worked at Williams & Jensen, PLLC, a Washington, D.C.-based lobbying firm, where she provided innovative legislative monitoring and traditional advocacy to clients on a wide variety of legislative initiatives before Congress.
