Dorothy Batten

Dorothy Batten is the founder of iThrive Games, a non-profit initiative which fosters the adoption of positive psychology and social emotional learning in video games and apps for adolescents to promote resilience, self-awareness, and emotional wellbeing. Ms. Batten is also the President of the D.N. Batten Foundation and DTMP, LLC, a real estate investment company, and was a former director of Landmark Media Enterprises LLC of Norfolk, Virginia. She serves on numerous nonprofit boards, including the Women's Initiative, RARE, and the UVA Alumni Board of Trustees. Ms. Batten received her undergraduate degree from Hollins University and her MBA from the University of Virginia.
