, Bond led the formulation of HP positions on U.S. domestic public policy issues, including e-commerce, trade, the environment, education, procurement and taxation. He also managed HP's interactions with. Congress, the White House and other federal offices and worked with companies, associations and coalitions on high?tech public policy issues and political activities. , Bond served as senior vice president of the Information Technology Industry council (ITI), where he was the lead lobbyist for a trade association of 30 of the world's leading information technology companies. Prior to joining ITI, Bond served as chief of staff to U.S. Rep. Jennifer Dunn (R-WA), principal deputy assistant secretary of defense for legislative affairs under U.S. Defense Secretary Dick Cheney, chief of staff to U.S. Rep. Bob McEwen (R-OH), and in various Defense Department positions during both the Reagan and Bush administrations. Bond is a cum laude graduate of Linfield College in Oregon.
