Tripp Baird is the founder and principal of Off Hill Strategies, LLC, a boutique lobby firm with a commitment to conservative principles and personalized client service and strategy. Prior to establishing Off Hill Strategies with his wife, Tripp was instrumental in launching the political arm of The Heritage Foundation where he served as the Director of Government Relations and Senior Legislative Strategist at Heritage Action for America (501-C4). He led Heritage Action’s efforts in the Senate, pushing for conservative policies and providing conservative analysis of upcoming votes. Baird also worked with Senators and their staffs to introduce Heritage-inspired legislation that advanced conservative principles. Prior to his work with Heritage Action, Tripp was a Partner at the Watts Consulting Group, leading business activities in corporate strategy and public affairs, with an emphasis on public policy matters before the U.S. Congress and the Bush Administration for finance, energy and technology sectors. Baird served as Legislative Director in the U.S. Senate. Prior to his service in the Senate, Baird’s first tour of duty at The Heritage Foundation (501-C3) was as the Director of U.S. Senate Relations. In this role, Baird developed and implemented the Foundation’s Senate educational and legislative strategy. Early in his career, Baird was a Floor Assistant for the U.S. Senate Majority Leader. In this role, Baird informed Senators and staff on legislative process and helped the Leader manage and pass all bills before the Senate.
