Angela Flood joined DCI Group in 2005 following nearly two decades in senior positions on Capitol Hill and at the White House. She leads DCI Group's Executive Branch advocacy practice and provides strategic government affairs counsel to clients on matters before Congress and the Administration. Prior to coming to DCI Group, Ms. Flood served in the Bush Administration as Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of the Office of Political Affairs at the White House. In that role, she directed the office's involvement in the presidential appointment process. She previously worked on the staff of U.S. Rep. Mark Souder (R-Indiana), from 1995 to 2003, in the positions of press secretary and chief of staff. From 1989 to 1995, she held several positions, including policy advisor and legislative assistant, in the office of then-U.S. Senator Dan Coats (R-Indiana). A native of Indiana, Ms. Flood is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. She serves as a vice president of the Indiana Society of Washington, D.C.
