Walter Owen Pryor is a seasoned policy and political strategist and plays an integral role in developing and implementing Senate strategies for clients. Walter previously served as Legislative Director for Senator Mark Pryor, where his portfolio included providing strategic counsel on a variety of legislative and political matters, such as work on the Senate Committees on Commerce, Science and Transportation; Homeland Security and Government Affairs; Small Business and Entrepreneurship; Armed Services; and Ethics. Prior to working in the Senate, Walter was Deputy Director and Managing Attorney of the National Association of Attorneys General. He also served as Acting Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General of the Tax Division at the U.S. Department of Justice and prior to that as Director of the Office of Training in the Tax Division. Walter has worked on the personal and committee staffs of Senator David Pryor and began his professional career as an attorney in private practice.
