Minyon Moore

Minyon Moore is considered one of the nation’s top strategic thinkers with extensive experience in political and corporate affairs and public policy. A former senior White House aide to President Bill Clinton, Minyon heads the Dewey Square Group’s Multicultural and State and Local Affairs practices. Named one of city’s most powerful women by Washingtonian Magazine, Minyon provides strategic counsel to leading companies and organizations offering counsel on branding, advocacy, and crisis management. Previously, she served as Assistant to the President and Director of White House Political Affairs and Director of White House Public Liaison under President Clinton. She was later named CEO of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), where she was responsible for the day-to-day operations and oversight of the party’s activities including communications, research, and fundraising. Before her White House tenure, Minyon served as a senior advisor on the 1984 and 1988 presidential campaigns of Reverend Jesse Jackson and Governor Michael Dukakis as well as National Political Director for the Democratic National Committee during the 1996 election cycle. Minyon has been a guest lecturer at the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government and Yale University, and is an accomplished filmmaker.
