F Sheffield Hale

F. Sheffield Hale is the President and CEO of the Atlanta History Center. Prior to joining the Atlanta History Center in 2012, he served as Chief Counsel of the American Cancer Society, Inc. Mr. Hale is a Past Chair of the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, the Atlanta History Center, and the State of Georgia’s Judicial Nominating Commission. Mr. Hale also serves as a Trustee of the University of Georgia Foundation, the Robert W. Woodruff Library of Atlanta University Center, and the Fox Theatre, Inc. Previously, he was a partner at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton, where he practiced corporate law. Education: University of Georgia, University of Virginia School of Law (JD)
