Alan M. Rifkin, Managing Partner of the firm Rifkin, Livingston, Levitan & Silver, LLC, is a well recognized commercial and business attorney who has represented many national and international corporations and institutions. In the area of sports law, Rifkin has been outside counsel to the Baltimore Orioles in a wide variety of matters, including rights fee agreements, licensing agreements, telecast contracts, naming rights and sponsorship agreements and litigation matters. Rifkin also represented the Baltimore Orioles and its regional sports network, the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network, LLP (MASN®) in negotiations with Major League Baseball resulting from the relocation of the Montreal Expos to Washington, D.C. Rifkin now serves as counsel to the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network. Rifkin previously has represented the Washington Redskins on a variety of matters, including the relocation of the franchise from Washington, D.C. to Maryland. He also represents the Maryland Jockey Club, owners of the Preakness® Stakes and Pimlico Racecourse.
