Tim Kustic is the State Oil & Gas Supervisor of California’s Division of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (Division). Working for the department for nearly 30 years, Tim has a keen understanding of the complex challenges faced by the oil, gas, and geothermal industries as well as by the Division, which is mandated to encourage the wise development of California’s energy resources while protecting the environment. Most recently, Kustic had served as the Division’s Technical Service Manager and he began his career in the petroleum industry. At the Division, Kustic also served as a field engineer in the Bakersfield and Santa Maria district offices, as manager of the Sacramento district office, and as the Division’s Facilities Program Manager. Tim received his Bachelor in Geology from Humboldt State University and completed coursework for a Masters of Public Administration at CSU Bakersfield. Tim, his wife, and their three children live in Sacramento.
