Lance Boldrey is a member in the Lansing, Michigan, office of Dykema, a leading national law firm. He heads the firm's Indian law practice and represents tribes and companies doing business with tribes across the country. Since 2007, he has been listed in Best Lawyers in America in the field of Gaming Law. Prior to joining Dykema, Boldrey served as deputy legal counsel to former Michigan Governor John Engler and was responsible for improving the state of Michigan's relations with twelve federally recognized Indian tribes. Mr. Boldrey was nominated by President George W. Bush and confirmed by the United States Senate in 2003 to serve on the Board of Trustees of the Udall Foundation. He is a past president of the James Madison College Alumni Association and a member of the Federalist Society and several bar associations. Mr. Boldrey was born and raised in Petoskey, Michigan. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations, with honors, from the James Madison College and the Honors College of Michigan State University. He received his law degree from the Duke University School of Law.
