O. TEMPLE SLOAN, JR. (69), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, General Parts International, Inc., Raleigh, North Carolina, a distributor of automotive replacement parts. He has been a director of the Corporation since 1996. He is the Corporation's Lead Director and is chairman of the Compensation and Benefits and Executive Committees and a member of the Corporate Governance Committee.
