James L. (Jim) Gallogly is executive vice president of Exploration & Production for ConocoPhillips. Gallogly joined Phillips Petroleum Company in 1980 and held various roles in legal. Beginning in 1990, he served as manager of business services for North America exploration and production, then finance manager, before accepting the position of manager of Ekofisk II, Norway, in 1993. Gallogly became vice president for North America production in 1995. He was named vice president of plastics in 1997, before becoming senior vice president of chemicals and plastics in 1999. Gallogly joined ChevronPhillips Chemical in 2000 as president and chief executive officer. He became executive vice president of ConocoPhillips’ Refining, Marketing & Transportation business in 2006. Gallogly serves on the board of directors and executive committee of the National Petroleum Refiners Association and the board of the American Petroleum Institute. He is a member of the University of Oklahoma College of Engineering Board of Visitors and the University of Colorado Engineering Advisory Council. Additionally, Gallogly serves on the board of directors and executive committee of Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas. He is a member of the Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas bar associations. Gallogly received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado in 1974 and a law degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1977. He completed the Advanced Executive Program at the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in 1998.
