Gideon Yu

Yu spent several years as part of the Silicon Valley elite, working at Facebook from 2007 to 2009 and brokering YouTube’s sale to Google in 2006. He has been a co-owner of the 49ers since 2011 and served as president of the team from 2013 to 2014. After selling his Atherton home for $24.5 million in 2021, Yu and his wife Susie made the move to L.A., settling in Sherman Oaks in a $9.5 million home. Now bought a blufftop home overlooking the ocean in Malibu for $52M, one of the highest-ever recorded sales prices in the tony Point Dume neighborhood, according to the Robb Report. Yu bought the Southern California home in cash, the media site reported.
