John Zak

John J. Zak is Independent Director of Rex Energy Corp. He has been a director of the Company since November 2010. Mr. Zak has been a partner in the law firm of Hodgson Russ LLP since 1990, concentrating his practice in U.S. securities regulation and compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate law and governance. Mr. Zak has 25 years of experience in North American capital markets, regularly counseling U.S. and Canadian businesses on U.S. securities and corporate law matters. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Mr. Zak received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his J.D. from Cornell Law School.
