Dr. Bernard J. Duroc-Danner, Ph.D. has been the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer at Weatherford International Ltd. since May 27, 1998. Dr. Duroc-Danner has extensive knowledge of, and experience in, acquisitions and multinational business. Dr. Duroc-Danner joined Weatherford International Ltd. in May 1987 to initiate the start-up of EVI Inc.'s oilfield service and equipment business. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Energy Ventures, Inc., Weatherford International, Ltd.'s predecessor company from 1991 to 1998. Dr. Duroc-Danner held management positions with Mobil Oil Inc. (New York), Arthur D. Little, Anheuser Busch Center for Management Science (Philadelphia) and Lambert Freres & Co., (Paris). He served as Chairman of the Board of Grant Prideco Inc., from April 2000 to May 7, 2003. He has been a Non-Executive Director and Member of Nomination Committee of LMS Capital plc since April 7, 2006. Dr. Duroc-Danner serves as Director at Exterran, Inc. He serves as a Director of Caldive International. Dr. Duroc-Danner served as a Director of Dresser Inc. since April 2001. He served as an Independent Director of Helix Energy Solutions Group, Inc. from February 1999 to May 11, 2011. Dr. Duroc-Danner served as a Non-Executive Director of London Merchant Securities PLC since September 1, 2004. He served as a Director of Parker Drilling Co. from 1996 to July 15, 2005, Grant Prideco Inc. until May 7, 2003 and Dailey International, Inc. since September 1996. Dr. Duroc-Danner also served as a Director of Peabody Energy Corp., since 2001 and Universal Compression Holdings, Inc., from February 2001 to April 19, 2006. He served as a Director of Energy Ventures, Inc. He was employed by Arthur D. Little Inc. Dr. Duroc-Danner holds Ph.D. in Economics from University of Pennsylvania and M.B.A. in Finance from Wharton School.
