Mara Ginsberg

Mara Ginsberg is a member of the Firm's Government Relations department; her work - both legislative and legal - focuses on education, technology and health care, including Medicaid compliance (OMIG). Ms. Ginsberg has a tremendous amount of legal experience spanning 25 years, both in government and in the private sector. She has served as Vice President of Government Affairs for AmeriChoice & UnitedHealthcare of New York, as Counsel for the NYS Office of Cyber Security & Critical Infrastructure Coordination, as Deputy Director and Counsel for the NYS Office for Technology, and as an Assistant Attorney General in the Appeals Bureau. Ms. Ginsberg is deeply involved in community relations. In 1998, Ms. Ginsberg founded and continues to be President of To Life!; a nonprofit organization in the Capital Region providing comprehensive educational programs and support services relating to breast cancer and women's health. Ms. Ginsberg is also the Vice-Chair of a Breast and Cervical Cancer Advisory Counsel and acts as a Consumer Grant Reviewer for Breast Cancer Research grants awarded by the United States Department of Defense.
