Coalition Promoting Technology in Higher Education
EDUCAUSE was formed in 1998 through a merger between CAUSE and Educom, two respected professional associations representing more than 60 years of combined service to the higher education information technology community. The new organization was intended to: offer a coherent, coordinated set of programs to serve all dimensions of campus IT functions; develop comprehensive, timely services to support the professionals within the membership community; and provide unified leadership on key policy issues affecting higher education.
