Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Caucus

The House and Senate Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (REEE) Caucuses are bipartisan groups originally formed in 1996 and 1998, respectively, to increase awareness of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies in the United States. These caucuses do not lobby for specific legislation. EESI - Environment and Energy Study Institute was involved in the founding of both these caucuses to promote such issues in federal policymaking. While the caucuses do not lobby for specific legislation, they regularly and effectively disseminate information about renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies. Such information helps inspire and muster support for clean energy legislation.
