Texas Schools Project supports and conducts independent, high-quality academic research through the use of individual level administrative data from Texas state education agencies as well as other sources of Texas education data. Over the past decade, the Texas Schools Project has become one of the premier education research institutions in the country, working with leading researchers at universities in Texas and throughout the country to analyze relevant, policy-related questions that benefit students in Texas and nationwide. In 2006, the Texas Schools Project was designated as a State of Texas Education Research Center. Through this program, The University of Texas at Dallas Education Research Center maintains an unparalleled source of PK-16 data, allowing researchers to follow Texas students from pre-K through college and into the Texas workforce.
